Fence, fence, fence. That is the word on Murphy Ranch. John is doing a great job. 90% is being done by his 2 hands. Sadie hangs out with him every day and runs all over everywhere with her nose to the ground.She loves the country life. Hunter came yesterday and pounded T posts for 2 hours. He is a great helper. When completed we will be able to move the cows from the 25 acre pasture they have been on for 5 years. Then we can plant new grass which will help with the hay bill. Poor Maggie is showing her age these days. We have been watching mother nature at work. Maggie is no longer the "alpha cow". Spudz has taken that title. I have seen Spudz lock horns with Bluebell to prove her point. Maggie just backs off. Chickens are all doing good. We are at 5 hens and 1 rooster. I am getting a steady 3 to 5 eggs a day!Hopefully in the spring we can add a few new chicks.
